Pick Of The Showroom: Aston Martin Virage Volante 6.3 'Works Special'

The Aston Martin Virage Volante 6.3 ‘Works Special’ is available to view at Kahn Design H.Q.

Only 1 of 3 models manufactured, one of which is this Gladiator Red beauty, the Aston Martin Virage Volante can only be described as an automotive treasure: timeless British styling, handmade quality and strong performance, the Virage Volante has all these qualities in abundance.

Having made its debut at the Birmingham Motorshow in 1988, the Virage Volante proved to be quieter and more comfortable than previous models.

Designed and manufactured under the supervision of John Heffernan and Ken Greeley, this full four seater received much acclaim for its sleek and contemporary silhouette, evoking memories of a grand touring spirit.

Furthermore, the new V8 engine is an improvement of the tried and tested 5.3 litre V8, but with new cylinder heads and the use of catalytic converters - any loss in power is overcome.

An exciting succession of upgrades for the Virage comes as standard, including the 6.3 litre engine conversion, suspension, brakes and wheels upgrades.

In addition to the mechanical upgrades – a number of notable cosmetic changes are fashionable to the core.

These include the flared wing panels along with deeper air dam and side skirts.

As stated previously, the Virage Volante 6.3 ‘Works Special’ is an extremely rare (1 of 3) wide-body car and is available for £399,995.

The engine is terrific, it really makes the car. You will most likely, never drive a fuel-injected that genuinely impresses you with its urge, its flexibility and the way it transformed what could have been a lolloping cruiser into a nicely balanced, open 2+2.

Likewise, the brakes and suspension are clearly in fine fettle and match the engine well.
This extremely collectable Aston Martin is presented in outstanding condition. With just 26,000 miles on the clock, this 1993 registered vehicle boasts a very comprehensive service history.

As with all our vehicles, please be advised the car has undergone a comprehensive pre sales inspection by one of our  experienced technicians.

Furthermore, as with all our vehicles we have a number of have funding options available. In addition, part exchanges are also welcome.
